Biography: I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Iowa and a research assistant at IIHR—Hydroscience & Engineering and the Iowa Flood Center. I am originally from Turkey, where I obtained a BS in computer engineering at Ege University. My research focuses broadly on artificial intelligence, natural language processing, big data science, data mining, scientific visualization, citizen science, camera-based sensors, augmented and virtual reality, GPGPU, and web-based development.
