Steve Burian, executive director of the Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH), and Erin White, associate director of science and research operations, traveled to Iowa City to discuss the future direction of the program and how IIHR and the Iowa Flood Center can best support its research priorities.

As a proud member of the CIROH research consortium, IIHR is excited to leverage the work done in Iowa to further advance the science and tools that are being developed to support water prediction and weather-readiness for the nation. The two-day exchange highlighted opportunities for new research ideas, collaboration opportunities, and reflections on CIROH's impact.

IIHR will continue its engagement with CIROH, supporting its strategic research vision.
