The University of Iowa is leading a new statewide research program to advance the understanding of how environmental risk factors affect human health. The Iowa Integrated Network for Science, Information, and Geospatial Health Tracking (INSIGHT) program will work to identify the factors influencing Iowa’s rising cancer rates and other health problems, prioritizing research on maternal and newborn health, neurodevelopment, and autism-related outcomes.
